WHAT WE DO

Communicating and Advocating

The University of Arkansas ACT chapter is dedicated to cultivating our members' abilities by offering professional, academic experiences that promote our industry. We participate in several activities throughout the school year to engage socially and educationally. Our events provide students with connections to established professionals, other agricultural communications students around the country and to each other.

We pride ourselves on being advocates for agriculture and educating the public about where their food comes from. We do that through telling people's stories through written, digital and other forms of media. Our students are skilled in photography, writing, website and graphic design, social media management and many other areas of communications.

Our chapter is nationally affiliated with the National Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow.
